Outline

Boothter is an useful application program. It provides " unmanned " presentation or guide for guests or visitors at booth on exhibition, display and facilities. Visitors can start any provided multimedia file (movie or sound) at any time. This provides visitors a quick access to their interests. Any other operations which may change the computer settings are inhibited.
Boothter records visitor's actions into a log file. It may be used to analyze visitor's interests later.

Up to twelve (12) multimedia file can be provided.
Each multimedia file is started by clicking a button which can be labeled.
In addition, function keys (F1 to F12) can be used in place of mouse click.
(On Windows, F12 cannot be used because operating system uses it.)

Text file content can be output via serial (COM) port in addition to multimedia file playback.
It may be used to control external device.

In " Exhibition Mode ", screen is covered by " Wall " image entirely.
You can also specify a " Banner " image.
Only labeled buttons are shown.
Visitors can start multimedia file by clicking a mouse button or pressing a function key.
(It is good idea to provide a special " Function Key Only " board.)

Placement of a group of buttons in Exhibition Mode is specified by a window position in Normal Mode.
Most wide portion of remaining space is used to present movie.
(Right side on above example.)

If Boothter quits (exits) in Exhibition Mode, it will enter Exhibition Mode automatically when it starts up next time.
Putting an alias (link) file to Boothter application into " Startup " (Startup Items) folder, it is possible to start Exibition Mode automatically merely by power up a computer.
Further more, Boothter starts a multimedia file which is marked as " Auto " automatically when it starts up.
